MONTHLY DRAW
St George’s Church Wootton is a listed building which is in urgent need of a major programme of development to provide basic facilities. We need to improve its facilities so that the church may be used more widely. We have to raise £100,000.00 to undertake the work.
To this end we have set up a monthly draw with subscriptions on an annual [£52], quarterly [£13], monthly [£4 or £5] or weekly [£1] basis. Monthly prizes are awarded according to the numbers who have paid in that month. If we had 200 members, the first prize would be £100, Second £60 and third prize £40.
The draw takes place monthly at the end of family service on the first Sunday of the following month. The number of weeks in the month is determined by the number of Sundays in the month.

All monies collected from the monthly draw will go to the FRIENDS of St George’s Church Wootton, whose purpose is to raise funds towards the restoration and improvement of the church building and will only ever be used for that purpose. It will not be used for normal day to day parish worship and running costs.
We need volunteers to help set up the draw. We need help to:

Recruit participants in the draw,

Deliver forms to friends and relatives.

Maintain the commitment to give from those that have promised to give.
We are hopeful that we will get quarterly or monthly contributions. The first people to sign up have given the yearly subscription.
