Welcome to St George's Church

We are a growing community of individuals and households of all backgrounds from the very young to the not so young, including the young at heart.

The website will offer information about us, about Christian faith, belief and practice and about the wider community. But best way to find out about us is to visit.

Join us on a Sunday morning or for one of our other services. You do not have to have any church background: simply turn up.

We'd love to meet you - we are at Church Hill, NN4 6QL.

About Us

Christian Church Services

Below you will find information about our church and community

Vision & prayer

Our aim within the whole community of Wootton and surrounding areas is to live fully and completely in the love of Jesus Christ.

History of St George's

The Church was built of stone, by the Bidun family, Lords of the manor of Wootton, in the early English style.

Churchyard

In the churchyard is a cross in memory of twenty eight men of the parish who fell in the war of 1914–18.

Weddings

You are welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you have been christened and whether or not you regularly go to church.

Community Helpers

We have a fantastic team of volunteers, to find out more, please contact us.
